About Us

Applied Metalcraft LLC is a machine shop and design business based in Verdi, Nevada since 2012. We specialize in prototype development and low to medium volume production using CNC equipment.  Verdi is conveniently located next to Reno and a few miles from the California border.

Owner Mark Hamilton has been involved in mechanical engineering and fabrication for over 30 years.  He started out as a machine operator and learned all aspects of the machining trade including tool and die work,  CNC programming, welding, and  machine design.  He received his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering in 1994 and has worked for numerous companies as an employee and consultant.  His roles have involved machine design, high frequency electronics packaging, engineering analysis, and production management in both the consumer and military markets.
